Every Project will be a ‘UMBC1’ Project Business Unit by October 2019. In order to achieve this task actions need to be taken on ‘CAPPJ’ Projects.

  • ALL CAPPJ Projects will be reviewed
  • Project Owners / Project Managers will be contacted to
    • Share Information related to older projects
    • Receive Information related to new project chartstrings
  • Understand if / when Projects that will be Transferred to new Projects
  • Be aware if  Journal Entries will be processed by Financial Services

2) PeopleSoft’s ‘CAPPJ’  Purchase Orders  (July – September)

CAPPJ Purchase Orders are a subset of UMBC’s Purchase Orders.  Every Purchase Order will be closed in PeopleSoft and a new Purchase Order or Contract will be created in JAGGAER.  As the implementation gets closer, the timeline and instructions for this transition will be provided by Procurement.  The goal will be to be transparent and efficient during the successful transition.

Understanding that CAPPJ Purchase Orders will be closed helps for everyone to plan ahead.
