Service unit managers are responsible for monitoring unit fund balances. The Controller’s office / Assistant Director of Cost Accounting and Analysis, are available to assist service units with these calculations. It should be noted that it is never acceptable to use fund overages for purposes unrelated to the unit’s primary activities.
